Go Cart Building Plans Is My Go Cart Engine Big Enough?

Is my go cart engine big enough? - go cart building plans

I am planning to build aa house cleaning off-road go-cart to. I have an old and large runic 8hp Briggs engine Straten. I just rebuild the engine. I make this trip by an adult. This is my engine 8hp large enough. How to think faster it goes.

8 hp is enough. The speed is determined by his regime, the number of teeth on the pinion of the motor, the number of teeth on the rear axle and the diameter of the rear wheel. The teeth on the pinion of the motor, and the diameter of the rear wheel, the faster it goes. But remember, the faster you go, the harder it is to stop.

Bigger is better than too much right POWER!

8hp, even if only one adult on board, then by the state of Enginger, I guess that about 40-50 km / h on the street, a little less will be on the floor. But it must be a power gas disk.
Good luck!

Yes, it can take a long time, I am a 6 hp Tecumseh in me, and flies, I weigh 200 pounds and as a flying mount

A colleague of mine has a snowmobile engine on and it says brings with balls, I've never seen myself, but I do not think

It all depends on how it works, if it does not work, try a small motorcycle engine 125 or 250, what can be done, I know people who have to Hove as large as 500 DC motors, but that was for racing
